On Sunday 14 October Snetterton circuit will be filled with some of the finest examples of Ford-powered F1 cars being put through their paces for your entertainment. Watch the vehicles take to the track between 12:00 and 12:30 for a not to be missed high-speed demo on the 200 circuit.
The Formula One demos shall be headlined by the legendary 1992 Footwork FA13, used by the Footwork Arrows team for the 1992 season driven by Aguri Suzuki. The vehicle was then updated for the 1993 Formula One season and was renamed the 'FA13B'.
Spectators at the Norfolk based circuit will be graced with the sights of numerous other vehicles, including the Lola F3000 Mugen-Honda (1990). This exact car was driven to victory in the 1990 International Formula 3000 Championship by Erik Comas. The Frenchman won the Championship with a healthy lead with a total of four race wins using the exact vehicle which will be at this year's Ford extravaganza.
John Reaks' 1990 Benetton B190 will also be racing around the track, powered by a Ford HBA4 V8 engine, producing approximately 650hp in 1990. The car originally belonged to F1 legend Nelson Piquet during the 1990 Formula One World Championship which saw victories in both Japan and Australia. The design of the vehicle is thanks to Rory Byrne and John Barnard and performed exceptionally well along with being eye catching in the Benetton livery.
Formula One demos will be rounded up by the Renault F1 F3000 replica which utilises a Lola F3000 chassis and is based upon a Fernando Alonso era Renault Formula One car.
Please note, due to these being classic race cars they will run subject to reliability.
